I believe what we want {especially on those harder days} is to be reminded that we are part of something bigger.

That we aren’t alone.

That we are part of generations of mothers learning and working to get it right {whatever THAT is!} Click To Tweet

While knowing that it is alright to get it wrong. We need to recognize that mistakes happen so that we can learn from them.

And that when we make this mistakes, we need to feel that there will be someone to turn to, to say:

“Hey, that sucks. It’s ok to make mistakes. You won’t screw them up forever – I promise.”

And then we want that someone {wiser and calmer} to tell us her story and perhaps share a few tips that worked for her.

What is it that us Mamas want?

We want to know how other mothers do it. And we may especially want to know how those mothers with those genuine smiles figured it all out!

Not because they have all the answers. But because they may have a few strategies that resonate…And because their stories and ideas are reminders that the struggle is shared.

That we are part of that bigger something.

Yes! For me there are definitely those days when I want that village to come knocking on my door with a hug and a few extra make-it-through-the-day strategies.

Well…guess what??

That is exactly what I’ve arranged for you all!

So, get ready for 10 days with 10 glorious blogs from 10 experienced mothers some with young kids, some with older, some with one job, some with two, some with one, two or three kids.

The shared experience is similar though…these Moms have lived the challenges of motherhood and are not only real about it, but ready to share their stories and their life’s lessons.

I often dream of times when women would circle together in a gathering to listen to one another – to stories of motherhood, to challenges and possible solutions.

A moment of solidarity when the village gathers to share and learn.

This is exactly what I’ve tried to create through a virtual experience – a blog tour where you can sign up and check in to these women’s wise words {at your own time and pace.}

Each mother is a woman I admire and will share their words, written to hold and inspire you. Words written to remind you that we are all in this together and here to help one another out.
