School’s out for summer! It’s time for quality time with our kiddos…
If you’re anything like me, you face this opportunity (!?) with a combination of excitement and fear. If you know me at all, you know that I am not a parenting expert.
In fact those two words together sort of freak me out and it wasn’t until recently that I was super skeptical about what a parenting coach could do for me.
Because there are just so many variables.
It depends on the kid, right?
And how can anybody be an expert at something so bloody impossible anyway?!
But of course, I was dead wrong.
And over the last year, when I learned that I have two special need kiddos, I had to admit that however calm I could respond, I still really (like really!) needed help.
I needed tools and strategies to parent these tricky tricksters.
So I turned to a parenting coach. And I never looked back.
I feel guided. I feel supported. I feel confident.
Having a parenting coach seriously changed my world. (And improved my relationships!)
And since I’m such a good sharer…I thought I’d share some parenting coach wisdom with you to help you through those quality summer moments with your kiddos.
Over the coming weeks, I will share with you a 2-part interview series – 2 interviews with 2 fabulous Mama-supporting parent coaches who will have your back!
I talk to my own parenting coach, Sarah Rosensweet, about child development and discipline (and so much more!).
I talk to my friend and neighbour, Meghan Leahy, who also happens to be the Washington Post’s parenting expert and columnist, about boundaries.
It’s a treasure trove of wisdom!
And it’s super practical! These interviews are set up so that you can listen or watch them whenever and wherever works for you…during your commute, at the cottage or as you wind down before bed.
They are full of real, practical parenting tips AND answer many of the questions you posted in our Facebook Group.
As part of my community, you will receive one in your inbox weekly for the next couple of weeks.
Once you’ve listened, I’d love to hear your feedback over in my Stress Less | Love More Community. And don’t forget to share these valuable interviews with your friends.
